Pedals

These little boxes are all handmade, point-to-point wired and designed for tones to compliment low tunings (as well as standard tunings of course).

All S7G Pedals are TRUE BYPASS which keep and respect your guitar’s tone going into whatever amp you are using.  They will all function with any 9V pedal power supply or battery.  The power sections in the pedal circuit have all been designed and beefed-up to filter out noise and get correct voltage to the pedal’s circuit.  I encourage you to use a power supply and stay away from batteries for several reasons (rest assured your tone will NOT suffer or get noisier if you use a wall wart power supply).   Any Hotspot, Onespot, Danelectro or Boss power supply will work for your S7G pedal (I designed them this way on purpose)!!!   DO NOT USE ANY Jim Dunlop wah pedal power supplies or 18v power supplies as they WILL BLOW UP YOUR PEDAL!!!!

The warranty on each pedal is one year (from date of purchase) parts and labor.   If something is wrong with the pedal (minus you spilling a beer on it or running it over with your car) I will correct the problem or replace the guts free of charge.   You will be responsible for shipping to and from S7G.   Beyond that, the pedals should make you happy with tone for years to come.

7Boost – This is a simple boost circuit with a little tone tweekers bonus plan.  I have added a HARDWIRED volume control to the 7Boost.  You can now use the pedal as a classic crunch pedal and control the level hitting your amp.  IF you want the “CLASSIC” 7Boost circuit design, just turn the volume knob all the way up and it bypasses the potentiometer from the circuit with NO degradation of tone!!!

7Fuzz – This ain’t Jimi’s fuzz kids!!!!  Here is a classic vintage fuzz circuit brought to a high gain and smoothed out format!!!  You can of course get all your favorite 60’s-70’s fuzz sounds with the 7Fuzz BUT if you put it in front of a high gain amp, you can unlock some amazing and singing lead tones with the 7Fuzz.  I encourage you to use the gain in moderation BUT if you pin the gain all the way up you can get those AWESOME, NOISEY, SCAREY, fuzz pedal on melt-down sounds that everybody loves!!!!

7Dirt – Another simple and classic idea re-tuned to serve the lower tuned guitar players of this millennium.  This is a crunchy, crunchy pedal.  You can get some beautiful and screaming JCM800 type tones out of this red box. Put it into a nice little tube amp and start to turn things up.  If you want to tighten up the low-end of your favorite high gain tube amp but preserve the amps tone then just dial back the gain, push the volume and you have a very transparent boost for your amp.

7Drive – Awesome pedal and a hideous color:  what could be better?  This is not a TS clone by any means but is a very smooth and tailored drive pedal.  The 7Drive will put your guitar IN THE MIX.  It tightens up your flabby, tubby tube amp and gets the right kind of midrange in there.   The 7Drive juices up the front end to get your amp and guitar tone crushing!!!!!  Put the gain at 3:30, the Volume at 12:30 and you are going to be happy!!!!  If you want a warmer softer tone, just back the gain off and adjust the Volume to taste for smooth and inviting tube amp boosting. The 7Drive is a winner!
